We have a team of dedicated and trained staff to make your servicing experience as pleasant and easy as possible. Advanced Diagnostic & Computer ServicesYour late model Porsche has more computing power in it than the first Space Shuttle that traveled to the moon and the modern day workshop needs to have the diagnostic testing facilities to competently service and maintain your pride and joy. At BWA Auto we have the latest scan tools and diagnostic equipment to carry out everything from a simple Porsche service light re-set to advanced Porsche diagnostics, fault code scanning and analysis, computer and key coding facilities. Logbook ServicingWe perform Porsche log book servicing at competitive rates and use only OE or OE quality parts this way saving you money and also not voiding your new car warranty. Q: How often should I service my car? A: We do not recommend going by your vehicles service lights. Manufacturer's service light schedule is designed to keep the cost of new car ownership down, but at what cost to your vehicle? We have seen many cars of various different makes and models with 100,000kms on the clock and have only had three to fours services within that time with the oil filter housing blocked full of gunk. The oil is the life blood of your engine and if you intend on keeping your car for an extended period of time we recommend performing at least an oil service every 10,000km or 12 months whichever comes first. This will ensure your vehicle's oil is kept reasonably clean and your engine can function and perform to its potential for many years to come. This also will ensure that your vehicle is checked over at least once a year to make sure you are kept on top of any wear and tear items that your vehicle may be experiencing and can factor in preventative maintenance staggered over the ownership of the vehicle rather than repairs done due to failure of an item which generally are more expensive when required. 
Diesel & Petrol Injection Servicing & TestingWe take great pride in our diagnostic capabilities, which we have become renowned for across Sydney. This capability and specialized service only comes from years and years of training and experience in the field, which is why we are a member of the Bosch Automotive Service Dealer Network and consider this an important link to the future of the aftermarket automotive industry. This allows us to maintain the position of constantly being one step ahead of the competition. We also perform on and off car fuel injection cleaning. With technology shifting and changing so rapidly it is important that we change and adapt with it. At BWA we are aware of this and are embracing change, which is why we have invested heavily for the future with the latest Fuel injection testers and diagnostic equipment. With Porsche now selling a diesel version of the Cayenne and a Panamera version also slated for release, at BWA we are already equipped with the diagnostic capability and knowledge base to still offer you a one stop diesel Porsche service shop. Tuning & Performance ModificationsWe can offer you a range of Porsche performance products for your vehicle ranging from brake upgrades, suspension and lowering kits through to ECU and exhaust upgrades. Steering & SuspensionApart from your tyres your Shock Absorbers, steering and suspension components are critical in your vehicles handling and drivability characteristics. With worn out shock absorbers your wheels will not be making optimal contact with the road and put you and your family into a potentially dangerous situation in an emergency. As part of our Porsche servicing schedule we carry out a full safety check and report on your vehicle and have the in house facilities to carry out the repairs on your vehicle from replacement of parts through to our 8-Point laser guided wheel aligner and tyre balancing machines. In racing it is important that your car handles well and with predictability. If you ask Bob, he would say that apart from driver training, this is the next most important issue to address for improving your lap times and enjoying the experience of driving the fantastic car that you own. If you can create more control over the vehicle's dynamics, by reducing body roll and excessive movements under heavy acceleration and braking, you will have a car that will be far more enjoyable on the race track. We can tailor many different suspension systems with options for struts, sway bars, hollow torsion bars, coil over kits and other components in today's markets. BrakesThe brakes on your Porsche are designed to help it stop on a dime. Like on most European vehicles the braking systems are superior to locally made vehicles. At BWA Auto we only use OE quality brake components, which are made to or above the Porsche standards. We only use trusted brands within the European industry like OE manufacturers TEXTAR, PAGID and SEBRO brake discs. You can trust that when you get your Porsche's brakes replaced at BWA that it will brake just as well as it did the day it came out of the factory. In racing after the correct suspension setup, brakes are the second most critical issue when it comes to your car. There are many ways to improve the braking power of your vehicle however on important thing to remember is that your brakes must be tailored to the car. Whilst some systems will work with the most basic change to a larger master cylinder, the best option is to move towards a tandem master cylinder setup to give you more control and adjust the braking bias front to rear. Engine Repairs & OverhaulWe take the utmost price in all our work, but it is demonstrated more than anything else in our engine rebuilds where our motto is "Do it right the first time". The majority of our work is performed in-house. Our capabilities range from crankcase machining and preparation to cylinder head overhauls - everything to make your engine rebuild just right. We can cater for anything from a stock standard rebuild to a fire breathing monster - the only thing we are limited by is your own imagination. Transmission Repairs & OverhaulWe provide Porsche gearbox preparations and rebuilds from standard overhauls and rebuilds to racing transmission modifications for high-output motors, LSD installations and custom gearing requirements. There is also the option of using our Transmission Exchange Program to purchase a gearbox on exchange or outright. Pre-Purchase InspectionsBuying a car is most often your second biggest expense in life behind your own home, so you want piece of mind that the Porsche that you are looking to buy is not going to be a lemon. It is important to know what you are buying when looking for the dream car. There are many cars out there that may not be what they seem and can have problems that you cannot foresee. To give you that extra edge and piece of mind and prevent buying that disaster car, take the worry out of looking for the near new or second hand car and bring the vehicle to us for a Pre-Purchase inspection. Dyno Tuning FacilitiesAt BWA Auto, we have immense experience with dyno's. In fact, we were the first workshop in Sydney to offer a dyno suitable for measuring and tuning constant 4WD vehicles. We can report on horsepower / kilowatt readings, air/fuel ratio and tractive effort - all those important numbers that tell you if your car is running to its fullest potential.
